In September 2013, a UK player was playing at Spin Palace Mobile Casino (obviously from his mobile device) when he managed to hit the largest ever prize ever to be paid out to a mobile casino gambler. This lucky UK was playing on a top Microgaming slot machine called Mega Moolah when he won the ‘Mega’ progressive Jackpot.

The player, Gabriel L., won himself a staggering £3.7 Million, which is approximately CA$6.5 Million. “I simply couldn’t believe it, especially seeing that I won it playing on my mobile phone. I still can’t believe it. Thank you Spin Palace,” said the winner. This amount set a new world record and it just goes to show that you can become a multi-millionaire wherever you may playing be these days.

Microgaming’s CEO, Roger Raatgever, commented on this record-breaking win, “It is so exciting that a staggering £3.7m has been hit on our HTML5 client. I am particularly proud of our mobile product as we roll out new content every month and currently offer 103 mobile games, which is the most in the industry.”

He added, “This win will be paid out to Gabriel L in one single payment so he can enjoy the winnings immediately. Watch this space for more exciting developments from Microgaming's mobile offering in the near future.”

The Spin Palace Casino Manager also released the following statement, “As a loyal player at Spin Palace Casino, we are thrilled for Gabriel L. It is a great win for him; the biggest Mega Moolah progressive pay-out on mobile! Once again, congratulations Gabriel,” said Debbie Taylor.
