Loose Cannon and a New Untamed Title Released by Microgaming
March 11, 2014
The themes that online casino software developers use for their games can be found from a lot of places. You can use film brands, television shows, video games, books or any other type of common media. You can also use archetypical themes like pirates, time travel, sports or whatever else. What software companies have figured out is that the theme doesn't matter as much as previously thought. Instead, it's the gameplay that players are really looking for in the present day online slots market, and that's exactly what you have to bring if you want to be competitive.
Microgaming understands this as much as anybody, and that's why their new Loose Cannon video slot doesn't just rely on the pirate/treasure hunting theme that it has. Instead, it offers great gameplay with a number of different ways to add value to your spins. Along the same lines, the new Untamed: Crowned Eagle video slot has a number of innovative features like the new Soaring Wilds feature. It also has a Collect-A-Wild feature, a Lucky Nudge feature and a Your Gamble feature, all of which have been innovated through the previous installments in Microgaming's Untamed series of video slots.
Microgaming's Head of Casino is Mike Hebden, and he had the following to say about these new releases: "The Untamed series, which already boasts Bengal Tiger, Giant Panda and Wolf Pack, shows that we are second to none in building legendary gaming experiences. The addition of Crowned Eagle is the perfect extension to an already popular series of games. As well as this installment, our operators' players will also thoroughly enjoy the swashbuckling Loose Cannon online slot."
When you have a lot of success in an industry, it's easy to fall back and get comfortable. However, that's the moment when things are the most dangerous because that's when you risk falling behind. Microgaming is at the top of the industry from the software standpoint, but they are always pushing and trying to do better, and that's why they have dominated the competition for more than 15 years. They are absolutely one of the two best software providers for online casinos, and they have maintained this position for a long time because of their ability to look for new ways to innovate and give players more options to enjoy. The Untamed series is a great example of that innovation.
