More Microgaming Titles Added to the HTML5 Platform This January
January 14, 2014
Over the past couple of years, mobile has been the fastest-expanding sector of the online gambling market. Casino software companies are pushing out more games for mobile than ever, and their mobile products are getting polished every so often with new advances in technology. Because more people have cell phones than ever before, it makes sense that this part of the industry is growing so quickly. Within the mobile casino world itself, there is also a major shift over to the HTML5 platform which is faster and more resource-friendly than Macromedia Flash.
Microgaming has announced that they are added two more titles to their HTML5 platform this month. The first game is Centre Court, a tennis-themed game that is very popular. You can get up to 18 free spins with multipliers as high as 5x in this game, so it's obviously a good choice if you think you can get lucky. The other title is the extremely popular Isis, a game based on an Egyptian theme. There are massive bonus features in this game as well with an opportunity to win up to 30 free spins with multipliers that run up to 6x.
Microgaming's Head of Product Channels Neill Whyte said, "Following on from our aggressive mobile strategy in 2013, we are continuing our rapid rollout of HTML5 games this year. However it’s not just about quantity, the quality is also paramount, and we aim to deliver the highest calibre of content to mobile players. Centre Court and Isis are both prime examples of this and we have no doubt that they will be as popular on the HTML5 platform as they have been in Casino."
The reason that Microgaming has done so well over the years is that they have always tried to keep ahead of the pack since the beginning. They were around when the online casino industry was in its infancy, and since then, they have been keeping up with trends and staying ahead of all of the other guys. This can be seen very explicitly right now with their HTML5 offerings and how they're not messing around when it comes to shifting over popular titles that they already have on their other platforms. Most of their new games are also being developed for mobile as well, so players will be able to look forward to tons of new mobile releases in 2014.
