September 16, 2014
Jackpot City Casino is known for putting on a lot of slot tournaments. For Canadian players who know that this is one of the top sites available that uses Canadian dollars, this can be some excellent news. What's awesome about these events is that they bring together different types of players. If you're a slots fan, then you're obviously going to love them. However, if you typically prefer table games because of the competitive element, then the tournament atmosphere is a perfect chance for you to get in on the action and try to show up the other players.
If you're going to get in on the action with these tournaments, then here's what you need to know about them. You start off by buying in for a small amount. This gets you a set of tournament chips which can be played on the tournament slot of choice. Your winnings are counted as points instead of being awarded back to your tournament chip stack. The idea here is that you want to try to run up your point total as high as you can. Your final score will earn you a spot on the tournament leaderboard, and the people who score the highest will get the top prizes.
Microgaming provides the games and software for Jackpot City Casino, and they have had a strong initiative towards tournament slots for about the past 18 months. Each month, they release a new tournament slot, and this means that there are always new games to try within the tournament format. All of these games allow for the points-accumulating feature that is seen in all of these events, and that's why having a great selection of tournament slots is key to making these events a lot of fun.
On top of their selection of tournaments, Jackpot City Casino also has a ton of other games provided by Microgaming. There are hundreds of titles available there, and that's even better when you see their cool selection of promotions. Whether it's their awesome welcome bonus package or their regular promotions, you're going to get a ton of value when you play at Jackpot City Casino.
